WIMBLEDON CHESS CLUB        Wimbledon is an old-established, active and friendly chess club, being one of the largest in London and Surrey.        We have two teams in the London League, six teams in the Surrey League and four teams in the Thames Valley League.        Our club night is Monday 7:30-10:30 p.m. when matches in the Surrey and Thames Valley leagues are played and friendly games amongst members; London League matches are played in Central London.        New members are always welcome. Come along for a month or two to see how you like the club before deciding to join; we cater for all grades of players. Stronger players are particularly welcome for our London League teams.        Our venue is in the centre of Wimbledon with excellent transport facilities.   Click here for location
